K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel has officially announced the launch of its first-ever “Summer Camp for Dogs” campaign, which happens to be an eight-week seasonal program geared towards keeping your pup stimulated, active, and socialized throughout the summer months.
According to certain reports, the stated program will run weekly from June 17 right until August 7 at participating locations nationwide, a timeline during which it is going to offer specially-themed activities for all participants. More on the same would reveal how the campaign in question brings forth mental stimulation, physical play, creative expression, and a lot more to make each week packed with exciting new experiences for dogs of all breeds and sizes.
Talk about this Summer Camp for Dogs on a slightly deeper level, we begin from the fact that pups will be welcomed to the camp with an adventure week, which focuses on mental enrichment. This translates to how participants can hunt and explore for treats in a ball pit, while simultaneously enjoying some individual mental stimulation.
The next week in line is likely to be known as Tail Waggin’ Fitness Week. Like the name might suggest, physical wellness and active play headlines the week two, as pups will get to enjoy some cardio by playing with interactive toys.
Another detail worth a mention is rooted in the Paws & Puzzles – Mental Enrichment Week: This week is all about nose work. We say so because dogs will be made to complete a search and sniff out some treats hidden under cones.
Following that up would be the Creative Canines – Arts & Crafts Week. Markedly enough, leveraging “lick art,” your pup here will paint literal picture frames.
Now; while the week 2 was strictly fitness, the week 5 tries to pursue a similar objective, but at the same time, it does that by gamifying the proceedings. This translates to how dogs will be placed on teams to play a game of soccer with their friends.
After all the legwork, the participating dogs will also be provided with some much-needed relaxation time. You see, they’ll be able to enjoy massages, pampering, and affection from favorite staff members for Wellness Day.
Hold on, we still have a couple of bits left to unpack, considering we haven’t yet touched upon the penultimate week, where the dogs will have their camp photoshoot. Here, they would pose in a camp-themed photo booth, with the pictures from the Arts & Craft Week set to be printed and placed into the frames.
Rounding things up would be the carnival fun week, where dogs will enjoy ice cream, bubbles, and more as summer camp comes to a close. Alongside that, there is also likely to be a bubble dance party.
Among other things, we ought to mention how all camp activities are available as an add-on to regular daycare or day boarding at participating resorts. We must also mention that the camp only take place only on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week, meaning pet parents can decide which day they’d like to attend.
Guests can further enroll in the full eight-week series to receive a commemorative K9 Playtime Activity Club Summer Camp magnet, a custom sticker book, and a badge sticker for every weekly activity completed.
