MGM Rewards, MGM Resorts’ loyalty program, has officially announced the launch of new industry-leading benefits to unlock better perks in between tiers, expanded tier match benefits with Marriott Bonvoy, enhanced benefits through Royal Caribbean, and more.
Talk about these benefits on a slightly deeper level, we begin from Marriott Bonvoy tier matching enhancements, where MGM Rewards Pearl members now earn Marriott Bonvoy tier matching benefits, enjoying Silver Elite status. Not just that, MGM Rewards Gold Members will now also be able to enjoy Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status.
Markedly enough, while MGM Rewards NOIR members hold on to their exclusive perks, and tier match into Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite, Marriott’s most prestigious tier status, the all-new tier match benefits all come together to provide members with better access of perks at over 10,000 Marriott Bonvoy global destinations, such as priority late checkout, room upgrades, welcome gifts, and more.
Next up, we must expand upon the elevated access of Royal Caribbean and Celebrity cruises. Here, MGM Rewards Platinum and NOIR members can access benefits like upgraded stateroom types, a larger variety of exciting itineraries, and longer vacation options redeemable through their Annual Cruise Benefit.
The Annual Cruise Benefit is now available for MGM Rewards Gold members. However, in case that wasn’t enough, all members will also receive a new Onboard FreePlay benefit, based on MGM Rewards Tier Status, on Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises voyages when sailing with an MGM Rewards loyalty offer, certificate offer, or group cruise.
Another detail worth a mention is rooted in the collection of new milestone rewards. You see, members can now earn these rewards on the back of their Tier Status achievements.
In fact, with the introduction of Rollover Tier Credits, members can come expecting to seamlessly accelerate their status climb by earning up to 25,000 tier credits, credits that can be carried over into the 2026 Tier Credit earning year.
This the members can achieve by earning 50,000 Tier Credits in 2025 and carrying over 7,500 Rollover Tier Credits into 2026. Alongside that, you must also earn 125,000 Tier Credits in 2025 and carry over an additional 17,500 Rollover Tier Credits into 2026.
Anyway, members will be further bestowed with premium added perks when achieving different status designations.
For instance, upon achieving Gold status, they will get $100 Tier Celebration Credit at MGM Resorts, complemented by a choice of hotel, dining, spa, or entertainment experiences and more.
Moving on, assuming you have achieved the platinum status, you can enjoy $200 Tier Celebration Credit at MGM Resorts + up to $600 air travel credit to fly to Las Vegas, Beau Rivage, or Borgata.
As for when a member clocks the NOIR status, they will be able to access $500 Tier Celebration Credit at MGM Resorts + up to $1200 air travel credit to fly to Las Vegas, Beau Rivage, or Borgata
Hold on, considering we haven’t yet expanded upon the introduction of a new MGM Rewards eGift Card, which arrives on the scene bearing the means to offer easy, online access of gift experiences at MGM Resorts’ 20 iconic destinations from Bellagio, ARIA, MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas; to Borgata in Atlantic City; Beau Rivage in Mississippi; and MGM National Harbor in Maryland, amongst many others.
In fact, to mark the launch of this eGift Card, MGM is also providing members an exclusive offer on purchases of the same.
Among other things, we ought to mention how the MGM Rewards eGift Card is redeemable at participating retail locations, restaurants, bars and spas across MGM Resorts’ properties. On top of that, the given eGift Card can also be applied toward room nights for hotel stays.
“We are elevating our rewards program and creating more ways than ever to earn and enjoy benefits across the world and at sea,” said Anil Mansukhani, MGM Resorts’ Vice President of Loyalty Marketing. “MGM Rewards’ next evolution of enhancements unlocks new benefits for members at every tier. We listened to feedback from our members and wanted to recognize and reward guests’ advancements throughout every level which is our central focus in delivering a best-in-class loyalty experience.”
